Benazir Bhutto’s Assassination is Still Questionable / Benazir's murder: still a puzzle / A death puzzle of a renowned politician. It was a tragic event in the history of Pakistan when Benazir Bhutto was killed on 27 December, 2007 in the garrison city of Rawalpindi. Nearly eight years has been passed but Bhutto’s assassination is still a question for Pakistan and Pakistani institutions. The question is who is behind the scene? However, many reports have been filed, arrests have been made, and certain Craziest group claimed responsibility of attack. Although, Pakistani institutions alleged fifteen year old child was suicide bomber, here a question raised where the security agencies were? Many peoples have been killed some of them forgotten and some names are registered in report file. She was one of the brilliant women in the history of world. Her endowment and importance in world history has created a special place in the hearts of Pakistanis and left a vacuum in leadership, no one politician able to it. She was born on June 21, 1953 in Karachi, daughter of renowned Pakistani politician named Zulifqar Ali. In her own life, she graduated with degrees in comparative government and Philosophy, Political science, and economics, having brilliant academic career at Harvard and Oxford, she elected as a president of the Oxford union and she was the first woman prime minister in Pakistan. After the assassination of former prime minister, her husband named Asif Ali Zardari elected as president of Pakistan and also co-chairman of Pakistan People’s Party but he couldn’t put murderer of Benazir Bhutto in the prison. Pakistani politician blames one another: Sharif blames Musharraf and Musharraf blames terrorist group and Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) declared Baitullah Mehsud responsible of Ms. Bhutto’s assassination. But US journalist Mark Siegel changed the scenario, he made responsible General Musharraf for the assassination of the former prime minister because she1 had informed about death menace. A country with such poor security and law and order conditions, where there is no life security of well-known people then who is and who would be answerable for the miseries of common people. It is the question from my side to the political and military elite of this country? It is the question from the every common person of this country. A country which was acquired for the protection of basic human rights of the Muslims of United India, that country is now full of lawlessness, where death of a renowned political leader Benazir became a question mark for the World and at domestical level a blame game is going on between different political circles.
