That Ought to See Us Out

A blog of mostly short, and usually light-hearted poems on the general theme of mortality, occasionally touching on a recent bout with cancer. "Belief in our mortality, I say, is a gloriously fine thing. It makes us sober; it makes us a little sad; and many of us it makes poetic. But above all, it makes it possible for us to live sensibly, truthfully, and always with a sense of our own limitations." --Lin Yutang

This Cancer Thing

I'm 51 years young and newly diagnosed with Stage IV Follicular Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. I created this blog not only to keep family and friends updated on what's going on, but also as a way for me to keep all this shit straight in my head. Since this cancer thing is indolent, the current treatment plan is watch-and-live, also known as watchful waiting. Waiting for WHAT??? I got a lot of living to do, thank you very much!

Pseudomyxoma Survivor

Pseudomyxoma Survivor is the home of the support network for survivors and carers of Pseudomyxoma Peritonei (PMP). Our support network offers emotional encouragement and a community where fellow patients and caregivers can collaborate online. This allows us to share our stories, enforcing the fact that we are not alone in this fight, as well as further the growing online PMP community. The community has already proven an invaluable source of strength to so many survivors of this rare disease.

Honestly, Emily

I was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma at 27 - and this is my mostly positive, hopefully funny, odd journey on dealing with cancer as a twentysomething.

Fierce is the New Pink

This girl is only 27 years old and just had a Mastectomy. She is about to start radiation. However, her story is also interesting because she had bone cancer when she was 12, survived, and later lost her leg. She writes with honesty about having cancer, emotions, and how she thinks people perceive her situation. She says a lot of things a lot of people are afraid to say. Sometimes she is funny, sometimes intensely emotional.

Hello! We are a happy couple, enjoying life, working hard and traveling this adventure called life. Bonnie is newly diagnosed as a BRCA2 carrier. Jeffrey is her adoring partner who is in this new normal with Bonnie together. This is our journey through BRCA2. If our story can help even one other person, it gives this whacked situation some kind of purpose.

Misifusa's Blog The Presents of Presence

A Journey of Endurance…that about says it all for me. I’m an 11 year breast cancer survivor, having been diagnosed on New Year’s Eve of 2001. I’ve witnessed first hand the ravages of cancer amidst family drama. Life is about the now, not the past, not the future. You can learn so much by watching reruns of the past and developing plans for the future, but the most important is The Presents of Presence. There’s a lot to be said for having cancer and surviving. Life changes once you’ve faced death and it’s for the better. Come connect with me ~ let's be inspired and motivated!

MyQute Lifesaving Remedies and Personal Rants!

Fed up with what cancer associations are not sharing, I share a myriad of topics: reversal of cancer, diabetes and M.S., vegan and raw foods, animal cruelty and environmental issues, and personal rants on scammers, potential rapers, inaccurate LGBT information, etc. I try to upload music I enjoy but due to time constraints, it's not always possible. Hope you enjoy my blog - am very responsive to questions/comments!
